Decicon announces the availability of silicon proven Mixed-Signal building blocks for TSMC 0.18µm CMOS process. The building blocks include "RF01 - 1.2GHz-1.8GHz Programmable PLL" and "RF04 - 1.2GHz-1.8GHz VCO". The building blocks are designed for the logic version of TSMC 0.18µm process and are compatible with all versions of 0.18µm process from TSMC.

RF01 is designed as a PLL with programmable divider ratio and loop parameters to be used for skew and jitter reduction and clock signal generation. RF01 features an internal programmable loop filter, a low-noise digital PFD, a precision charge pump RF01 with programmable output current and a programmable divider. Four outputs with 90° phase delay are available.

RF04 is designed as a Voltage Controlled Oscillator to be used in frequency synthesizers to serve as the Local Oscillator in wireless and high-frequency applications. RF04 can be tuned from 1.2GHz to 1.8GHz and features low phase noise, high tuning linearity and low power. Four 90° phase delayed outputs are available.
