Decicon announces that its 16-bit DAC IP core developed in PolarFab's 0.5µm PBC4 process is available for licensing.

The 16-bit DAC core utilizes a voltage segmented architecture and achieves 16-bit INL and 1/2 bit DNL performance with no need for production trimming. 16-bit data latches isolate the analog circuitry of the DAC from the digital data bus for excellent crosstalk and feedthrough isolation. The DAC is optimized for a reference voltage of 4.096V however it can be used with lower reference voltages. Optional features include output buffering and internally generated supply rails for improved power supply rejection.
