Decicon announces that it has ported its proven I2C interface IP to PolarFab's popular 0.5µm PBC4 and 0.35µm Polar35 processes and made them available for licensing.

Decicon's highly optimized I2C interface is the smallest in the industry and had previously been ported with great success to numerous processes spanning from 2µm down to 0.18µm CMOS. The basic interface features a Slave core with Read-back functionality. Repeated Start-Stop, 7-bit Addressing and Standard and Fast modes of operation are supported. Optional features include 10-bit Addressing support, General Wake-up Call support and Clock Stretching support. A Master Core is also available.
